It’s been quite a few years now, but it’s still a fun story to tell.

I started a tiny business called Fresher than Fresh Snow Cones that I operated out of a 1957 Shasta trailer. I made all of the snow cone syrups from scratch using fresh fruit, herbs and minimal sugar.

My mission was to reinvent the snow cone for modern tastebuds.

We would park the snow cone trailer in a neighborhood garden where customers would be greeted by our mascot, Snowie.

I designed merch.

I illustrated all of the flavors.

It was a grassroots operation but it made a lot of people very happy. Including me.

The concept took off, so I followed the momentum and opened a storefront called Little Freshie.
