Little Freshie is my
hobby-turned-business story.

Nutshell: I took a detour from my design career to start an all-natural snow cone business.

I made snow cone syrups with herbs from my garden, fresh fruit, minimal sugar, and served them in a garden out of a 1957 Shasta trailer.

Within a year, my tiny business landed on the pages of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Food Network Magazine and more.

I took it as a sign that I was doing something right, and I opened a tiny storefront: Little Freshie. I expanded the menu, but the big idea stayed the same:

We were reinventing nostalgic treats for modern tastebuds.
